Jack Alter Fort Lee Community Center

The Jack Alter Fort Lee Community Center has been reopened to the public on a limited basis, beginning with adult classes. We will be holding these programs in the gymnasium to allow for proper spacing. We want to ensure that everyone feels protected and comfortable, so we are urging all participants to maintain social distancing whenever possible and to wear masks if not vaccinated.

Proof of residency must be shown to participate in classes, which include: a Community Center ID card; a current driver’s license with your Fort Lee address; or a lease, deed, property tax bill or recently canceled rent check along with a photo ID.  (No utility bills will be accepted.)  All participants must sign in with a staff member before each class to allow for COVID-19 contact tracing. As always, please do not come to class if you are not feeling well.  Copies of the schedule will be available for pick-up at the Community Center main desk.Summer Concert and Movie Series 2021

Our July 2021 calendar is now available and a printable copy can be found here, which includes information on the classes and hours of operation. We will continue introducing and phasing in various classes throughout the summer, including the return of our popular Tai Chi instructor in August!

We will also be hosting our Concert & Movie Series on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the summer on the lawn. Find a printable copy of that schedule here!

We thank you for the patience you have exhibited throughout this challenging time and are looking forward to seeing you again as we begin our return to “normalcy.”
