How do I obtain a copy of a police report?

A copy of your motor vehicle accident report or incident report number will be available after 5 business days. You may pick up your report Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. at the Records Bureau. The fee for pick-up on accident and incident reports is $0.05 per page. 

Mail, Email & Faxed Reports

No report will be mailed, emailed or faxed unless requested by mail. To obtain copies by mail, fax or email, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope, fax number, or email address and a check for $5 (made payable to "Borough of Fort Lee".) Please include your name, (owner's name if different), type of report, case number, date report was taken and a daytime phone number for confirmation.
